Kinect With Disney

Have you heard? Okay, so the Disneyland Adventures game for the Xbox Kinect is not exactly breaking news as it was released about this time last year. However it might still be an unexplored avenue of Disney fun for some of us voyeurs.

    

 

 

Reviews of the actual game play have been mixed, but most people seem to agree the simulation of the park is realistic and immersive, with great attention to detail. You can customise an avatar, run around and talk to other characters, shop and play mini games. It's kind of like Sims for Disney fans.

 

Just a little something to think about during the Christmas season. If you've been holding off on getting Kinect for the Xbox 360 the season of giving might be the perfect excuse to indulge in some Disney gaming fun.

 

Haunting Ebay

Everyone I'm sure has been guilty of being an open house looky loo. If that describes you I have some happy news to report. There is a full sized replica of Disney's Haunted Mansion- that's right, an actual home- being auctioned off on Ebay. You know what that means for us voyeurs- Pictures!

Mattercam -

The Howard Johnsons hotel boasts the only live webcam with views of Disneyland parks. If you go to their website hojoanaheim.com you can view several different rotating views of the park. Watch out- it's addicting. The first time I first came across this Mattercam I watched it for over an hour. Check it out at different times of the day and night. The Matterhorn at sunset is truly magical to behold. Disney voyeurs out there rejoice.
